We just got word that three of our students won state awards for their Reflections Art projects and now will go on to National competition.

This year’s theme for the National PTA contest called Reflections is “Beauty is……..”.   Our state student winners of the contest are as follows:

A very special Congratulations goes to our Art Teacher Ingrid Webb for receiving an Excellence in Art Education Award from the V.A.A.E.

It’s also Cabin Fever University time so please check out this years offerings for adult activities here in Strafford.

Our grades 6-8 students, their parents and the Newton Staff are going to attend a Red Sox game on Sunday, April 25 against the Baltimore Orioles. It looks like 60+ from the Newton School will be attending. There maybe just a few “Standing Room Only” tickets left and they are on sale for $20. Please contact the office if interested.

In closing, I want to thank everyone for their support. The Newton School is truly a very special place. It’s an honor to have been chosen to be your principal.
